Technology Transfer by EHIME Japanese team - Processing of Bivalves

 

A team from EHIME group in Japan visited NARA on 12th July 2017 in order to transfer technology on processing of bivalves. The team was led by Madam Omori Noriko, manager of Ehime prefectural international center.  Staff members attached to IPHT took part in this training and gained knowledge on processing of following oyster based products.

  1. Preparation of dried oyster products
  2. Preparation of oyster extract, oyster sauce and oyster soup
  3. Preparation of oyster Tsukudani

Finally a meeting between the Chairman, the Director General, IPHT staff and Japanese team were held at board room to summarize the training programme.
