Open Ceremony of Fish Feed Production Unit establish under the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Technical Cooperation was held on 5th, February, 2020, at Ekala, Ja-Ela. Hon. Douglas Devananda, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Hon. Sanath Nishantha Perera, State Minister of Fisheries and Freshwater Fishing Industries, Mrs. R.M.I. Rathnayake, Secretary to the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Assistant FAO Representative, Dr.D.B.T Wijeratne, Professor A. Navaratnerajah, Chairman /NARA, Mr.L.K.T.C. Lokukumara, Director General/NARA, National Project Coordinator, Dr. H.M.P. Kithsiri, Deputy Director General/NARA participated to the event. Objective of this project is to increase Aquaculture production.
