• Two years experience as an Assistant research project manager of Research Consultancy bureau (a premier marketing research company of Sri Lanka) (from 2012 to 2014)
• Two year experience as researcher and data analyst of Well fish project collaborative work of Northumbria University of UK and University of Ruhuna (from 2011 to 2012)     
• One year experience as Temporary demonstrator in the department of agricultural biology faculty of agriculture (from 2011 to 2011)
• Three months research experience as research assistant of Women’s wellbeing of Rekawa Fishing Communi project conducted by Graduate school of social science, University of Amsterdam. Research topic (2011)
